 I aim for timeless designs that are informed by the stories that strike our hearts; designs that inspire people and, above all else, help people live better, easier lives. The world is too complicated as is, without poor design making it that much more difficult. Sustainability is also close to my heart, as I have worked in the recycling industry and seen firsthand how confusing and time-consuming the process can be. I hope to make products that keep it simple and incorporate circular economics from their inception whenever possible. My experience in manufacturing directly informs my decision-making during the design process and helps to eliminate mistakes before they are even made. I have found plenty of advantages in collaborating with people on the shop floor about their insights when developing any product to its most cost-effective and least time-consuming path to completion.
